Connected Vehicles

The SPATULA Group started life as an interest group looking at signal phase and timing, hence it’s name – Signal Phase And Timing Users, Automotive and Local Authorities. It has since grown into a forum for all forms of connected vehicles and roadside systems.

About the Group

The Connected Vehicles group is for all those interested in this subject and brings together the perspectives of users, road operators, the automotive industry, data providers and hardware suppliers. It is a place to demonstrate what is happening in the UK, share experiences and ideas and link up with other projects and users.

It is a Technical Working Group of the Transport Technology Forum and its work is supported by the Department for Transport and Innovate UK.
