TTF Smarter Parking Working Group details the National Parking Platform
Local Authorities are being urged to take part in a forthcoming TTF online meeting, which will focus on the National Parking Platform.
What is the Smarter Parking Group?
The Smarter Parking group is led by Graham Hanson Head of Smarter Traffic Management DfT, chaired by Sarah Randall from Newham Council and run by the BPA. This is a bi monthly zoom meeting that happens between 9:30 and 11:00, dates listed below.
What are the benefits?
It gives local authorities and Technology suppliers the chance to share the latest innovations and best practices. It also gives BPA members a chance to interact with the TTF and plan for future legislation. The main agenda items cover the Digitisation of TROS, APDS, and the National Parking platform. The Smarter Parking Group is also directly responsible for The Manual for Smart Streets guidance for local authorities. The group currently has over 200 active members.
