The Smarter Parking group is led by Graham Hanson Head of Smarter Traffic Management DfT, chaired by Sarah Randall from Agena Group and run by the BPA. This is a bi monthly zoom meeting that happens between 9:30am and 11:00am. Dates for 2024 will be announced soon.
What are the benefits?
It gives local authorities and Technology suppliers the chance to share the latest innovations and best practices. It also gives BPA members a chance to interact with the TTF and plan for future legislation. The main agenda items cover the Digitisation of TROS, APDS, and the National Parking platform. The Smarter Parking Group is also directly responsible for The Manual for Smart Streets guidance for local authorities. The group currently has over 200 active members.
