The Transport Technology Forum has opened bookings for its annual Autumn Update conference, taking place on Tuesday 12 November in Birmingham.
The meeting returns to the IET at Austin Court for the second year running, featuring updates from STREETWISE and all six TTF working groups. These are UTMC, Open Data, Smarter Parking, Connected Vehicles, EV Charging Infrastructure and Digital Traffic Regulation Orders. The event will also feature the latest on signals funding along with presentations around data and AI. As we in the UK work through the implications of a new government, Europe is reacting to a new European Commission. Colleagues from ERTICO will join us to explain some of the impacts this will have on transport and technology.
The Autumn Update gives local authorities and the supply chain the chance to spend the day in the same room as central government to discuss key issues and share ideas and solutions. Last year more than 150 delegates attended including senior members of the Department for Transport.
Local authorities’ attendance, catering and refreshments are fully funded thanks to the support of the private sector. Details of sponsorship opportunities and private sector delegate rates are available from organisers, the Local Council Roads Innovation Group, LCRIG.
A full agenda will be available in due course, but with the Autumn Update proving to be an extremely popular one-day event, those interested in taking part are encouraged to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
