In a growing and evolving charging landscape, the issue for local authorities about where to place charge points has become a crucial element in the implementation of the technology and the drive to decarbonisation of transport.
This webinar will directly address the challenges and opportunities that come with site selection for charge points across local areas and communities, whether rural shires or city boroughs.
Date: Thursday, 19 March 2026
Time: 11am
Following the roll-out of Local EV Infrastructure (LEVI) funding, local authorities now have to consider the practicalities of site selection for their charge points, ensuring that utilisation is efficient, beneficial to the community, and future proofed.
The masterclass will explore how local authorities are making crucial decisions on where to place chargers and explore how their approaches ensured that the right sites were chosen for their communities. Specifically, it will look at Suffolk’s roll-out of LEVI funding with Believ and the lessons learnt to-date.
The panel will examine the evolving relationship between CPOs, the council and officers, and the wider community in developing and delivering charge points, with real-world examples of utilisation.
