The Transport Technology Forum (TTF) is pleased to share the second edition of the Department for Transport’s Cyber Risk and Threat Quarterly June 2026. This product has been developed by DfT’s Cyber Team to provide the transport sector with a consolidated view of key National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance, emerging threat trends, and relevant developments across all transport modes.
This edition includes:
- Key insights from Cyber UK 2026
- The growing impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI)on cyber risk, including emerging vulnerabilities and defensive considerations
- An overview of quantum-related threats, including implications for long-term data security
- A case study of a cyber attack affecting a transport organisation
Our aim is to support industry partners by providing clear, actionable information to strengthen cyber resilience and improve situational awareness across the sector.
