TTF Autumn Update 2024

Event Date: 12 November 2024

This year’s Transport Technology Forum (TTF) Autumn Update took place at the IET, Austin Court, Birmingham on 12 November 2024.

The Autumn Update provides local authorities and the supply chain with the chance to hear from central government, discuss key issues and share ideas and solutions.

The meeting featured updates from STREETWISE and the six TTF working groups: UTMC, Open Data, Smarter Parking, Connected Vehicles, EV Charging Infrastructure and Digital Traffic Regulation Orders. In addition, delegates heard the latest on signals funding along with presentations around data and AI.

As we in the UK work through the implications of a new government, Europe is reacting to a new European Commission and colleagues from ERTICO joined us to explain some of the impacts this will have on transport and technology.

Local authority delegate places, including catering and refreshments were fully funded thanks to the support of the private sector. The event saw 170 delegates attend, including representatives from the Department for Transport, local authorities and the supply chain.
