LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival 2027

Event Date: 23 June 2027 - 24 June 2027

The Innovation & Learning Festival brings together local authorities, the supply chain and industry leaders to innovate, learn, connect and showcase the latest solutions shaping the future of highways and transport.

With more than 800 delegates attending over two days, including representatives from over 100 highway authorities across England, Scotland and Wales, alongside the Department for Transport (DfT), National Highways, academia, industry associations and the supply chain, it is a must-attend event for those committed to advancing highways maintenance and road infrastructure technology.

Taking place at Stoneleigh NAEC, Warwickshire from 23-24 June 2027, the Festival offers an engaging programme of expert speakers, live demonstrations, interactive experiences and networking opportunities, showcasing the very best in highways innovation, learning, and collaboration.

The Festival is also proud to host the DfT Special Recognition Apprentice Awards. Taking place on 23rd June, the awards celebrate emerging talent and the vital contributions apprentices make to shape the future of highways and road infrastructure technology.

For 2027, we are evolving.

Building on everything that makes the Festival great, the 2027 event will  introduce four Innovation Hackathons and a new Innovation Accelerator Programme, extending the impact beyond the event itself and creating a structured, year-long journey from challenge to implementation.

To ensure the Festival remains accessible to the whole highways community, fully funded places are available for public sector delegates. This includes accommodation, transport between the hotel and venue, catering and refreshments, funded through the support of our sponsors and exhibitors.
