An engaging and insightful face to face Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Working Group event took place at The Albert Halls (Bolton Council), Victoria Square, Bolton.
The morning session delved into the challenges local authorities face in implementing kerbside EVCI. With Coventry City Council sharing their successful navigation of highway legislation/regulations.
A key feature of our event was the Innovation Showcase, where SMEs exhibited their innovative technologies. This segment provided an exceptional opportunity for attending councils to directly experience the newest advancements in EVCI and interact with pioneering solutions that are at the forefront of electric vehicle infrastructure development.
The event also included a critical session on cyber security in EVCI systems, emphasising the importance of safeguarding against cyber risks. A panel discussion on advanced charging solutions, focused on both depot and on-street fleet charging.
